DIG WE MUST by Paul Allman
I'm in a play! A staged reading, really. It's a black comedy, the story of a married couple (played by Molly Parker Myers and me) whose son perpetrated a mass murder. It's smart and interesting; it's beautifully written by Paul Allman and intelligently directed by Dwight Watson, and it's totally worth coming to see.

Howl at the Center
I'm going to be in a play!!! Well, a staged reading of a short play, one of eight that will be part of this fun program! My play is called "The Art Machine" and it's by Paul Allman and directed by David Simpatico and it's really a wonderful short piece.
"Howl at The CENTER is a collection of original plays, monologues, and musical pieces by members of Howl Playwrights. These will be performed as staged readings."

The Porch
I'll be one of a bunch of storytellers telling their stories at The Porch!! At Kaatsbaan in Tivoli. I'm already nervous.
The Porch is a live storytelling series inspired by The Moth where assorted local characters tell true stories to an audience of their friends and neighbors. This evening of spoken stories is a refreshing alternative to screen entertainment and has drawn a loyal following of Hudson Valley residents. The Porch has held sold-out events at local venues ranging from a town library to a friend’s barn, from an indie movie theater to The Spiegeltent, Bard’s popular summer arts venue — and now The Porch is excited to return to Kaatsbaan! Unlike an open mic, the stories are curated in advance and are sure to inspire. So pull up a chair and join us on The Porch!
Confirmed storytellers include:
David Stickle
Kevin Factor
Michael Carr
Norm Magnusson
Rory Kelsch
Kimmi Berlin
Kathleen Blake
Norm's Memory Sale

Super stoked to be brushing off the memory sale with Peter Dougan and to be performing it in Woodstock on April Fool's Day! The perfect day for my fictional stories about real objects.

From OPPLAUD review by Andrew Andrews: "Censors today are substantially more relaxed than they were in the early sixties, as is society‘s definition of "indecent" and our idea of what is considered "shocking." But this hilariously dark comedy is still quite intense. The performance by everyone in the cast is nothing short of outstanding. As in life, a good play is more about the journey than the destination, and County Players’ production of Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is undoubtedly a trip worth taking."
